BOOK A CALL

Workflow automation and integrations

Spend less time moving information between tools.

I follow a repetitive administrative task with your team, then agree what can be automated and where a person still needs to check or decide. Connections are scoped around the access and capabilities your software suppliers actually provide.

The starting point

Where is the work getting stuck?

I start with the task, the people doing it and the tools you already use. These are some of the situations I can explore with you.

  • Staff copy the same information between tools.
  • Reminders and handovers depend on someone remembering to send a message.
  • A regular report requires the same manual preparation each time.

Agreed scope

Define what your team will receive.

An agreed administrative workflow, with triggers, data access, checks, failure handling and handover defined before delivery.

I confirm the deliverables, responsibilities, timetable and cost in a written quote before work begins. If discovery is needed first, I agree its scope and cost with you separately.

  • A workflow map identifying inputs, responsibilities and proposed automation.
  • The agreed automation or integration, with permissions and checks documented.
  • Tests covering expected use, missing information and failed steps.
  • Guidance explaining how to monitor the workflow, pause it and resolve problems.

Project examples

What this can look like in practice.

These are illustrative examples of work I can scope with you. The requirements, supplier access and time your team can give the project determine what is practical.

  • A reminder when an enquiry needs a response or a document needs review.
  • A handover notification when a recruitment stage is ready for the next person.
  • An agreed transfer between tools that support the required access.
  • A repeatable reporting task using specified data sources and checks.

How I work

From the current workflow to a supported handover.

I review the work with you as it progresses, test the agreed requirements and make the next responsibilities clear.

  1. Follow the task

Check the inputs, decisions and systems, and whether an existing feature could solve the problem.

  2. Connect and check

Build the agreed workflow using supported access, with human checks and a way to handle failures.

  3. Introduce and monitor

Test with your team and agree who monitors the workflow and what happens when something changes.

Responsibilities

Make ownership clear from the start.

Integrations depend on supplier permissions, APIs, subscriptions and capabilities; compatibility is checked before it is promised. Your organisation approves data access and retains supplier contracts. Software fees, monitoring and ongoing support are agreed in the quote. AI is considered only where useful, with human review. Clinical decisions, autonomous care decisions and automated candidate selection are outside this offer.

How project costs and ongoing support are agreed
  • I document the included work, acceptance criteria, testing and handover before delivery.
  • You nominate someone who can agree requirements, arrange staff input and accept the completed work.
  • Your team provides the agreed access, supplier contacts and time for testing.
  • You approve data access and changes to your live processes, and retain responsibility for care and operational decisions.
  • We agree who runs the system after handover, including hosting, maintenance and any optional support period.

Work in practice

Related implementation experience.

These accounts cover platform configuration, staff guidance and systems delivery from previous roles. The automation examples on this page are illustrative; these case studies provide related implementation background.

Heritage Healthcare

I configured recruitment workspaces and supported staff with demonstrations and guidance. The platform was adopted by 16 of 20 franchises in the rollout.

Practical answers

A few practical questions

Can you connect our existing care software?

I check the supplier’s supported access and the information involved before agreeing an integration. Some tools do not offer the access needed; in that case I explain the limitation and consider a simpler alternative.

Does automation mean using AI?

No. Many tasks need an existing feature or a conventional automation. If AI would help, its inputs, limits and the person checking its output are agreed first.

What happens if an automation fails?

The project scope includes the agreed checks, failure notifications and recovery steps. I explain who monitors it and how your team can pause it, with ongoing support arranged separately.
